The fancy credentials. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) and 14+ years of experience in a variety of clinical, academic, and administrative healthcare roles. I’m a lifelong learner and am currently pursuing certification to become a psychedelic-assisted therapist.

My why. My passion for provider mental health wellness and advocacy is rooted in my identity of being the daughter of Chinese-Vietnamese refugees and my own challenges navigating the healthcare system both as a patient and provider. I struggled during my academic journey as a first-generation college graduate, and constantly felt like I was playing catch up to my peers who seemed to have it figured out how to navigate higher education. As a student advocate and peer mentor, I saw how healthcare trainees with historically marginalized identities are disproportionally impacted by the very system meant to nurture and teach them. Graduated Growth was founded on the principle that healers and healers in training deserve more than the status quo.
